Registration for this challenge round closed on May 21. Over the past two weeks, the ‘challengers’ (ie the large companies) looked at all the pitches provided and determined which ones might suit their needs.
Today we can announce how many and which applicants have been selected for the follow-up process!
46 proposals met the challengers’ wishes or even surprised them. These 46 participants were invited for an extensive (digital) introduction with their challenger to deepen the challenge, discuss the solution, assess the ‘match’ and determine the scope of the possible collaboration. On 2 July we will know who will continue to the next phase; the BioVoice challenge weeks. In this, the potential partners will work together towards an innovation contract.
Strong ecosystem for the other innovations
In 59 cases there was an insufficient match between the proposed solution and the corresponding challenge. That does not mean that these proposals could not lead to new business for these 59 parties, on the contrary. The biobased/circular ecosystem in BioVoice’s field of activity (West and Central Brabant and Zeeland) can support individual companies in scaling up their innovations.
BioVoice partners Green Chemistry Campus and Dockwize will share the necessary information with the relevant pitchers in the coming weeks.
